The list of product ingredients is important to educated consumers. However, an INCI declaration prescribed by law is not necessarily helpful. Even experts don’t understand it. Did you know, for instance, the difference between Lauric-sulfate and Lauric glycoside?

  The first one is classified as a dangerous cancer-causing substance; the second one is a natural mild Tensid.
 
Many cosmetics giants today use fabricated miracle materials created in a laboratory to separate their products from others. Advertisements tell us these products are laboratory tested and certified by professionals.  We can’t be certain whether the products are healthful or harmful.
